Feasibility Committee

The Feasibility Study Committee identified and defined the parameters with goals to answer such as; who and what is the Cocalico Community Center; what type of programs and services will be offered; what kind of facilities will be offered at what location; and how can the facility be operated and financed. To answer these questions the committee developed the following goals:

To study the future of the Cocalico Community Center, the Committee commissioned the architectural firm of Cornerstone Design and the Franklin Group to work with the committee to complete a Feasibility Study. The study includes analysis of existing facilities, strategic alternatives for meeting demand, and conceptual plans for the future Community Center. It summarizes the public input process and provides a roadmap for service delivery, renovation, construction, and financing of the public vision for the Cocalico Community Center. The plan contains the vision for a cohesive site, a visionary structure, and an integrated program that can symbolize and enhance the Cocalico area’s shared history, community spirit, dynamic presence, and bright future.
